Public Education Foundation

The Hispanic and Latino Legacy Dinner was an inspiring evening of meaningful connections, joyful moments, heartfelt recognition, and steadfast support for the next generation of Hispanic and Latino leaders.

As proud members of the event host committee, we were thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our community and advocate for continued investment in education through the Public Education Foundation (PEF). This inspiring event highlighted PEF’s commitment to shaping a brighter future for our students. Congratulations to the honorees and new scholarship recipients recognized on this magnificent evening.

In 2024, PEF awarded nearly $6.7 million in scholarships to students pursuing their dreams. With initiatives like the CCSD Book Bus, distributing over 122,000 books, and innovative programs like Teacher FastTrack, PEF is making an impact where it matters most. Southern Nevada Senior Law Program

SLP strives to empower seniors in Southern Nevada through no-cost legal services. Services include: estate planning and Power of Attorney Health Care workshops, assistance with evictions/housing and real property, elder exploitation and elder abuse, consumer assistance, and much more!

The best part? All of their services are offered at NO-COST and in English and Spanish for seniors ages 60+. They also do not income qualify or ask about immigration status of their clients.
